I think all the snogging is just so sweet, and what a lovely way to show holiday spirit. Everyone should get a snog this time of the year.
This time of the year is just so lovely. I love all the decorations, and the baking. Everything smells so sweet and warm. I just can't wait to get home to my family and spend the holidays with them.

It's starting to get that snow feeling in their air. I love snow, it's pretty and I like going out in it all bundled up. Its lovely to talk a walk in.
Im hoping we have a Hogsmeade weekend on the horizon. I like being able to get out of the castle and wander honestly. And I want new yarn, I've knitting quite a bit this week. Knitting relaxes me, its love to sit down and knit because it's repetitive. And you get something wonderful out of yarn, I find that to be beautiful.

I have finished my scarf for Nick, it's very cozy and warm, and very, very long. It's lovely and striped. Nick likes stripes, he wears them well. I'm going to send it to France for him.
I love France, its so lovely there, I hope we spend the holidays there this year. My sister leaves near a bakery, it always smells like sugar in the air. I just want to see Nick, I feel it's been so long since he's been back in the UK.
I am just so exhausted, and I have no idea why. I just want to sleep and sleep for at least fourteen hours, or years, whatever comes first really.

Sundays are lovely days for napping, there is something about a Sunday that makes me want to sleep all day, with intervals of snacking, sewing, and reading. There were some lovely scones this morning in the Great Hall at breakfast, they went so wonderfully with my English breakfast tea.
Halloween is just so close, and I am getting so very excited. I love fancy dress, and the sheer array of sweets. It's a very sweet friendly holiday, and who doesn't enjoy that? I can't wait to see everyone else's costumes, and seeing how many of them are homemade as well.
I'm currently knitting the world's longest scarf for my brother, he doesn't dress warm enough, and needs more layers. After the world's longest scarf, I'm going to start on a black and white striped jumper for him, it's going to be very Camden area punk. He can wear it with his school boy blazer adorned with badges. He has such a cutting edge sort of style.

I have finished my butterfly wings for my butterfly costume, they're sparkly. I like sparkly things, the way they catch the light. I'm going to wear them with a black dress, black stockings, and black ballet shoes, I'll look like a butterfly, they have solid black bodies.
( Magical photograph (wave your wand) )
My sister Gabi, she lives in France, sent me some rose and vanilla biscuits, and they taste like if flowers were sugared, they're so lovely. I'm going to make her necklace in return, I like using the metal cutters, they make you feel like you could cut through anything.
Everyday in Astronomy I add to my carousal drawing, it's a good use of time.

I love October, and not just because of Halloween, which I do rather enjoy as well. Last year I went as a carrot and this year I think I may go as a butterfly because I've all ready made the wings up. Carrots are lovely, so orange and delicious, that costume was so pointy. I still have the foliage hat, you never know when that sort of thing may come handy.
I was bored after classes were over yesterday, so I made biscuits and decorated them as well. They're colourful and sweet.
( magical photograph wave your wands to view )
Rainbows and unicorns are so lovely, they seems like they would hand in hand.
It's such a nice, warm sort of day still, and all the fall colours, I'm going to take a walk around the lake while it's still walking sort of weather.

I didn't mind my blue hair, it could have been worse honestly. I wish I would have kept a piece or two blue for fun.
I like knitting when its cool out, it just feels cozier. I knitted all day yesterday, I ended up waking up tangled in the scarf I've been knitting for my brother Nick. He doesn't wear enough warm things. I'm going to knit him the world's longest scarf.
You know what would be lovelier than a bouquet of flowers? A bouquet of strawberries. That would be so wonderful.
